We are nearing the point of no return, show time is near. So far we have 61 volunteers from various fly fishing clubs and organizations all over Northern California. We have 21 students who are eager to pounce on some Rainbow Trout. For some of our students this will be their fourth year at DownStream fly fishing.
It really is an amazing sight to see these kids tackle fly fishing. It always amazes me how well they do.

DownStream fly fishing was created as part of a movement to inspire people with Down Syndrome to try fly fishing. It is my hope that through fly fishing, people with Down Syndrome can improve coordination, fine tune motor skills, boost social skills and attain a sense of accomplishment while having fun. Additionally, my goal is to include family members in order to promote family activities in an outdoor environment.
