DownStream is 100 percent free for participants and family members. Creating a wholesome, outdoor activity for people with Down Syndrome takes hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. We put in the time and raise the money gladly and wholeheartedly. For one day and over one hundred people the world is at peace. Kids who might not normally engage, laugh or try new things, blossom. Despite contrary belief, not all people with Downs are happy-go-lucky people. They are no different that you and I, we have good days and bad. We are here to provide the best day imaginable and open minds to the fact that fly fishing has endless benefits.
